Justin Heron is a Midwestern based musician and multimedia artist whose music reflects a deep, introspective exploration of the self. Drawing influence from artists like Silverchair, Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, and the Smashing Pumpkins, Justin's sound is a textured blend of raw, reflective lyrics and surreal storytelling, shimmering guitars into a lion's roar of distortion. His songs invite listeners into emotional landscapes where the search for meaning and understanding takes center stage.
Justin's musical journey began behind the scenes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked as a recording/mixing engineer, shaping records for independent artists across the United States and Canada. Though his role in the studio was rewarding, it was always his own songwriting that remained his most personal outlet. For years, he wrote and recorded in between other projects, but it wasn’t until recently that he decided to shift his focus entirely to his solo work.
Justin’s music stands as the result of experience, reflection, internalization, and now with a sound that combines cinematic depth and sonic alchemy, the expression of what was found in the process.
